Birthplace of America’s music is a pretty bold claim considering Memphis, Nashville and New Orleans are in close proximity! I’ll just leave it at that.

Memphis to Mississippi: 210 miles
Memorable (meal) moment: Google Maps offered me an alternate route, saying there was an accident causing a 6-minute delay. I accidentally took it because I turned off to get gas, and it put me on the route by default, saving me at least an hour. A semi had jack-knifed and its left backside was torn open like a can opener cut through it, with contents spilling onto the freeway and blocking all lanes.
